Introduction of Maintenance Items
  • Air pressure
    Air pipe: Check each pipe for air leakage.
    Air valve and solenoid valve: Check the control of air valve and solenoid valve under proper operation.
    Balance cylinder: Check for air leakage and proper lubrication.
    Die cushion: Check for air leakage and proper lubrication. Check whether the set screws of the die cushion are loose.
    Pressure gauge: Check whether the balancing point of the pressure gauge is normal.
  • Electrical
    Electrical control: Check the controller and its operation reaction, replace the faulty controller and tighten the loose part. Check the fuse for proper size and the insulation part of the wires, and replace the faulty wires.
    Motor: Check whether the fixed screws of the motor and the bracket are tightened.
    Buttons and foot switch: Check these switches carefully and replace them immediately if they are defective.
    Relay: Check the contact wear, the connection of wires and maintain them carefully.
  • Lubrication
    Air lubrication component of clutch: Eliminate all water in it, check unit status and add lubricating oil to the correct position.
    Lubrication system: Please refer to the lubrication part described in the lubrication section of this manual for the maintenance of the lubrication system. Check whether the lubrication line is broken and worn; whether the accessories are leaky, broken or damaged; whether the oil-level height of each oil level is up to standard. In normal operation, oil should be replaced and cleaned in the new oil immersed gear groove after the first three months, and these operations should be repeated every six months (about 1500hr) since then.
  • Mechanical Part
    Platen: Make sure that no foreign matter is placed between the platen and the bed. Make sure that the fixing screw of the platen is not loose. Make sure that the levelness of the platen is within the tolerance range.
    Clutch: Check air leakage and wear of lining shoe.
    Drive gear: Check whether the gear and spline are tight and whether the gear is properly lubricated.
    Slider adjustment parts (electrical type): Check whether the slider adjustment motor is fixed tightly, and confirm whether the automatic brake is OK. Check the proper lubrication of worm and gear for the slider adjustment unit. Check the accuracy of the die height indicator.
    Motor drive: Check whether the motor shaft and pulley are loose and whether the belt and the belt pulley suffer from crack, wear and deformation.
    Cleaning: Clean the inside and outside of the press to remove any accumulated foreign matter.
